Dolly Parton and Vince Gill’s duet of “I Will Always Love You” is breathtaking and gave me goosebumps.

“I Will Always Love You” is a song written and originally recorded by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton in 1973. The song achieved commercial success upon its release and has since become one of Parton’s signature songs.

In 1995, Dolly Parton re-recorded the song as a duet with Vince Gill for her album “Something Special”. This version features Gill singing harmony vocals and playing guitar on the track.

The expanded version of the song includes a longer instrumental intro in which Gill plays an extended guitar solo. The instrumental section also features additional string accompaniment, giving the song a more lush, orchestral sound.

The lyrics of the song remain the same as in the original version, with Parton singing about a farewell to a former lover, wishing them well and assuring them that she will always love them.

The duet version of “I Will Always Love You” was a commercial success, reaching number fifteen on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 1995. It has since become a fan favorite and is often performed live by both Parton and Gill. The expanded version of the song showcases the vocal and instrumental talents of both artists and provides a beautiful interpretation of Parton’s classic ballad.
