The Spanish studio MUT Design has made modular kitchen units from materials that can be found elsewhere at home: copper, ash and marble. The collection includes a kitchen island, a cupboard, a glass cabinet, a serving trolley and a room divider. A marble sink sits on a copper column in an ash frame. The drawers and trays are removable to allow access to utensils from both sides. A large cupboard for household appliances and other kitchen utensils completes the basic kitchen. The glass cabinet and serving trolley are made of ash and powder-coated steel, in addition with a low copper bowl. The Float collection is a radically innovative proposition in the hope of restoring the status of a fully habitable space to the kitchen.
