Functional Nightstands

Most bedrooms need bedside tables to store small items like glasses, a book, a phone, and the like that most of us need. If you’re looking for a comfy bedside table and can’t find the right one, don’t worry, we’ve prepared a whole range of cool modern tables that you can buy right now. Most of them go with your modern bedroom decor and offer functionality such as plenty of convenient storage space. Interested? Let’s start!

At first glance, Misko von Heim Evgi looks like an average bedside table, minimal and balanced. But then when you figure out the functions, you just can’t help but ask, “Why hasn’t anyone thought this before?” An internal LED shines brightly from the inside, illuminates the translucent top and peeks through the handle area. By combining these two functions, your bedroom remains clear, but just as bright – a lamp and bedside table in one, isn’t that smart? I also like the modern design with a kind of minimalist feel that suits many bedrooms.

Ottone, the latest in Formabilio’s collection of modern furniture, is simple without lacking personality. Like a playful guardian by the bed, Ottones eager eyes liven up the design. These also serve as functional handles for a drawer in which you can store all the necessities of your bedside table. Such a cool and modern bedside table is a good idea for any modern bedroom, and it comes in two versions: with dark and light drawer to match your interior.

The floating shelf by the Spanish design studio Oitenta is quite simple, but offers a good punch. The wooden shelf is designed to hang on the wall above an electrical outlet so you can also use it as a charging station for all of your devices. The top is big enough to hold a clock, plant, or book so you can use it as a bedside table or as a wall shelf for decorative items. The door at the front opens to reveal the socket and storage space for your cables and chargers, which may be contained in the elastic band. A magnetic lock keeps the door closed.

The Yeh Wall Table by Taiwan-based designer Kenyon Yeh for the 2014 collection of the Danish design brand is a two-legged, sliding side panel. The design consists of a flat pack assembly of components with their top and leg separate, making installation easy. The circular table top made of powder-coated steel and tube folds at right angles to a point that sticks to the wall and prevents it from tipping over.

Functional furniture, more and more for your room! This multiple small drawer bed organizer is ideal for storing keys, books, cosmetics and anything else you might need when you go to bed or right after you wake up. This nifty little bedside table was designed by Jean Pelle. It is made of maple wood, treated with wax, all work is handmade. You can use low legs, which are great for low beds. Choose your configuration – with or without legs.

The wall space in our homes is not often used very well. This is why Pippin is keen to make the most of this space, especially the space by the bed if you don’t have a working breadboard with storage. By adjusting the rail height and choosing products, you can create your own piece to support general activities in the area – for example, for storing books, night light or other. There is a wide range of materials to choose from, but the whole line is unified by details and colors. The style is perfectly minimalist, nothing unnecessary and fits almost any modern interior. It’s a great space saving idea!
