After 4 Years in Shelter, Dog Celebrates With Joyful Dance Upon Adoption

When an abandoned dog named Dreadlock arrived at a shelter in Thailand, he was 6 years old. He had a host of skin problems, and his coat was matted, but Soi Dog Foundation staff weren’t about to give up on him.

It was extremely hard work to get Dreadlock, who has a calm personality, ready for adoption. People will ignore him time and time again even though he is an affectionate and lovable dog.

Then he accepted that no one wanted him, or would want him, so he locked himself in the corner of the shelter.

The video below shows a volunteer walking up to Dreadlock, now 10 years old, to prepare him for a flight where he is being adopted by a family in the UK.

Dreadlock magically turns into a little puppy when he realizes he’s finally been adopted. He is happy for the first time. What a happy ending! Watch the video below.
