Heartbroken Shelter Dog Retreats as Closest Friend Gets Adopted Without Her
Last month, animal welfare rescuers in Stillwater arrested two dogs that were seen running through the busy streets of Oklahoma City.
It is not uncommon for social welfare workers in Sao to rescue several dogs at the same time, but they are used to seeing the rescued enslaved street urchins grow self-sufficient.
The staff immediately saw that these two have a certain bond in this case.
“They traveled who knows how far,” said Ashley cheeks, an animal welfare worker in Sao, ” but they always stayed together.”
The gang greeted the two with broad arms and gave them the names Bonnie and Clyde. They refused to leave each other’s side, even in the sanctuary.
They served their stray fist in the same kennel together, where they seemed very close, “said the jerks
I’m up to date.
The two dogs sleep together for three days to relax and receive medical treatment. Despite their ongoing battle with the heartworm, Bonnie and Clyde eventually heal enough to consider adoption.
When they were temporarily separated on the adoption floor, the two closest friends were excited to see each other again.
“When we gave them outside time, they were running together,”jerkis explained at the time.
Soon Bonnie found herself alone in the shelter, while Clyde was adopted by a kind family.
The devastated girl immediately missed her closest friend and began to give up faith that her happily ever after would come true.
One day, a care worker took a picture of her lying on her bed and posted it on the shelter’s social media page in the hope of finding her a home.
“Bonnie has been completely alone since she was adopted, and she definitely misses having a brother to cuddle with,”she added in a Facebook post.”
Fortunately, their goal was achieved sooner than expected.
“It was posted on Friday, and someone came in the first thing on Monday to adopt her,” jerkis went on to say.
Bonnie has finally found the perfect home, and she couldn’t be happier.
“She’s already settling down!”Left Brayden Roth, Bonnie’s new mom, left a note on Facebook. “She will have the best life, full of adventures with her big sister in blue heels.”
Bonnie’s adoption was only a few days ago, but her new family adores her as if she had been there forever.
Bonnie will always have fond memories of her brother Clyde, but she is looking forward to the adventures that await her.
